The important question is, what do we do with the disappointment?

Console the mourners in Zion— give them a crown of beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and a garment of praise for a spirit of despair.

Stories were not exact but the longings were the same. Each person grieved unmet desires for authentic connection: To know and be known. To love and be loved.
