Thank you for speaking to me.

A couple of weeks ago I walked by an unknown lady sitting on a park bench with her head down. All I said was, Good morning. Nothing else. Just... Good morning.

She lifted her head as though it weighed a thousand pounds, then she smiled with a half smile that spoke of sorrow and gratitude for having been noticed. Her eyes held a million untold stories. Her faint voice was purposeful.

"Thank you for speaking to me."

Her reaction startled me in such a way that I keep thinking about it. There was nothing flashy or powerful as most people consider power. It was strength that touches someone with kindness by simply acknowledging, I see you & I care.

So... from my heart to yours,

I wish YOU a very Good Morning!

Mary

So Hagar gave this name to the LORD who had spoken to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “Here I have seen the One who sees me!”
