I Have Deep Concern AND Hope

I have deep concern And hope for the local church.

When I say local church, I am not referring to any particular group. God's kingdom is much greater than that. I am talking about the whole church... the people of God who live throughout planet earth.

May God raise up shepherds after His heart who

care for the perishing

bring back the scattered

leave the ninety-nine to find the ones

feed the sheep

heal the broken hearted

save those who are crushed in spirit

strengthen the weak

heal sickness and disease

and who eliminate harmful things that seek to destroy.

And may we ALL offer this same care for those whom God has placed in our lives.

May the breath of God blow upon our smoldering ashes until our souls are aflame with the passions of His heart.
