Happy Palm Sunday!

Of all the sermons that could be preached about Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem on a donkey, one portion stands out to me today. “The children were shouting in the temple!” Matthew 21:15
It has been over two-thousand years, yet the shouts of these children ring through the corridors of time! Hosanna to the Son of David!
Their child-like faith rejoiced without inhibition! Not only did joy bounce off the temple walls with palm branches waving. Their celebratory laughter reverberates in our hearts whenever we visit their story in Scripture.
“The blind and the lame came to Him at the temple, and He healed them. But the chief priests and scribes were indignant when they saw the wonders He performed and the children shouting in the temple courts, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Do You hear what these children are saying?” they asked. “Yes,” Jesus answered. “Have you never read: ‘From the mouths of children and infants You have ordained praise?””
I double dog dare you to grab hold of the faith of a child, and join the triumphal entry shout.
Hosanna to the Son of David!
“Have you never read: From the mouths of children and infants You have ordained praise?”
